Oasis of The Seas makes some last minute changes

Royal Caribbean new ship Oasis of The Seas is now sailing as the World’s Largest Cruise Ship. But there were a few last minute changes that were made to the ship before it arrived for it’s first cruise.

The original design of the Boardwalk “Neighborhood” was to have a tattoo parlor offering temporary tattoos and a tarot card reader store. But the tattoo idea was nixed and was replaced with a Pets at Seas store where passengers can make their own stuffed animals. The Tarot Card Reader Store, well let’s just say it was not “In The Cards.”

This is a great ship and if you have never cruised before, this would be a great ship to take your first cruise. Also Oasis has really out done itself with on the Entertainment offerings. Try it You will LOVE IT!

  4. I think it is an imaganary. I think the Oasis of The Seas is much smaller than titanic.

Sorry to break your bubble, but the Titanic was a small ship compared to todays vessels. The Titanic weighted in at only 46,328 Gross registered tons and the Oasis of the Seas is 225,282 Gross Registered Tons. The length of the Titanic was 882′ 9″ where the Oasis is 1,187 feet long. The Titanic was 92′ wide where the Oasis of The Seas is 208′ wide. So as you can see the Oasis of The Seas dwarfs the Titanic. Granted, at the time the Titanic was built, it was a very large ship, but todays Mega Ships are much larger than ships built during the days of the Titanic.

The photo you have is of the “Central Park” area in the middle of the ship not “The Boardwalk” as stated which is at the back of the ship. The ship is fantastic and is only slightly smaller than her sister ship The Allure of the sea” which is the biggest cruiser liner in the world.
